Ironwood® Fencing

Fencing does more than just provide privacy and secure boundaries - it's a great way of creating a stunning statement with your home. Whether the style you are after is modern, traditional or something in between, Ironwood® will do the job.

Our range of Ironwood® shaped pickets, decorative post tops, lattice, palings and boards will ensure stunning results that will last. Helping you create the fence of your dreams.

Boundary Fences

Lap and cap fencing is an excellent option for a boundary fence. Capping protects the end grain of posts and pails and gives your fence a professional finish. If you need your fence to be an effective sound barrier consider lapping (overlapping) the fence palings.

Neighbourly Love

To avoid potential disputes over boundary fences, it is recommended that you consult your neighbour and agree on style and cost before you commence construction. Better still make this agreement in writing.

Picket Fences

There are so many different styles now available, you don't have to stick to the traditional white picket fence. For a picket fence with a modern edge consider adding some capping. Not only does this create a nice neat finish to the fence, it also gives your fence extra protection against the weather. A nice effect can be achieved by painting the capping and bottom rail a contrasting colour to the pickets.

Accessories such as Ironwood® Post tops will continue the federation theme.

Painting Tips

  • Painting or staining your Ironwood® fence will help extend the life of your fence.
  • If possible all pieces of Ironwood® should receive one coat of paint before the fence is assembled, as many areas can not be repainted once the fence is built.

Treatment Levels

Any timber that is in contact with the ground needs to be treated to an H4 level, otherwise all other fencing should be treated to an H3 level.
