Who can do the training?
This training is available exclusively to our Ironwood Distributors and their employees. If you would like to become an Ironwood Distributor talk to your local Carter Holt Harvey Woodproducts Australia Group Account Manager or call 132 321.
How do I get a copy of the Ironwood Training Manual?
Email your request for the Ironwood manual with your name, company, phone number and address to
training@chhwoodproducts.com.au. You will be contacted and a copy sent out to you.
How do I start the assessment?
Once you have finished reading the Ironwood Training Manual and feel you are ready to be tested log onto
www.pine.com.au/training and register yourself as a new user. You will then be able to take the tests for each of the units in whichever order you prefer.
Why are there nine units in the folder but only eight exams?
The final unit ‘Retail Information’ is not examinable.
What sort of questions are in the exams?
All eight exams consist of multiple choice questions. If you do get a question wrong you will have another chance to resubmit the correct answer.
Do I have to do the exams for each unit in order i.e. unit 1 to unit 8?
No you can complete the exams in whichever order you prefer
Do I have to complete all the assessments in the one sitting?
No whenever you have finished a unit assessment you can save where you are up to so your results will be there the next time you return to complete the training. However you account will only be active for 60 days.
What happens if I forget my username and password?
If you have forgotten you password click the “forgot password?” link at the bottom of the login box on the homepage. Your password will then be emailed to the email address you entered when registering. If you don’t have an email address you will need to call the Carter Holt Harvey Woodproducts Australia Group Help Line on 02 9496 9116 during office hours.
My login isn’t working?
If your login isn’t working and you know you are using the right username and password contact the Carter Holt Harvey Woodproducts Australia Group Help Line on 02 9496 9116 during office hours.
How long does the assessment take?
Each exam should take no more than 15 minutes and there are 8 exams in total.
Will my account expire?
Yes once you register your training account will only be active for 60 days. Reminders will be sent by email on the 50th day or by phone if you don’t have an email account. 30 days of non-activity will also prompt a reminder email to be sent.
How much does the training cost?
Nothing
Someone else at work wants to do the training, can I just give them my username and password?
The User ID assigned to you for an Online Training session is unique and is assigned for use by a single user.
How many people can do the training from the one company?
There is no limit to the number of Ironwood Distributor employees that can complete the training.

Can I take the course from home?
Yes you can complete the assessments on any computer that has internet access.
What is the pass mark for the training?
To pass each exam you will need to get at least 70% of the questions correct. To complete the entire training package you will need to pass all eight exams
What happens when I finish the training?
You will receive a certificate in the mail recognising you as an Ironwood Specialist.
Can I keep the training folder?
Yes, once the training assessment is completed your training folder can be used as a treated timber reference folder.
What happens if changes are made to the material in the training folder?
We will post any up-dates that have been made to the training material to all those you have completed the training course.
